Poker table progress...

The only steps left are to pad and vinyl the rails then  host a game!

497.jpg (142214 bytes) Marking the radius of the round edges of our table.
Total size is 42x82".  This will seat 10.
504.jpg (78348 bytes) Sanding out the rough edges of the rail.
498.jpg (107560 bytes) A close up of the marks 505.jpg (88186 bytes) A look at the rail.  Note the playing surface leaning against the car.  The rail will rest on top of the playing surface by 2".
499.jpg (123997 bytes) Cutting our basic shape. 506.jpg (51835 bytes) Preparing to add our 1/4" foam to the top of our the playing surface.  (We have already attached legs so we can now officially call this a table.)
500.jpg (71998 bytes) The majority of this project is using the jigsaw! 507.jpg (85800 bytes) Gluing down the foam.
501.jpg (114002 bytes) Drilling a pilot hole in order to cutout the top of our 4" rail. 508.jpg (52935 bytes) A peak at the foam surface with the rail resting on top.
502.jpg (76548 bytes) Cutting the rail. 510.jpg (57611 bytes) The tables after the felt was attached.  Sorry there are no pictures of this but we needed all hands for this part.
503.jpg (78701 bytes) Attaching the 2" bottom rail to the 4" top rail.
The entire rail section will fit snug over the playing surface.
509.jpg (107512 bytes) A glimpse of the felted table with the rail resting on top.  Last step is to pad, vinyl and attach the rail and trim the excess materials.
